    • It is not about punishment; it is about ownership.

    • Moving from the “Blame Game” to “Problem Solving.”

  • The Accountability Ladder:

    • Below the line: Waiting and hoping, making excuses, blaming others.

    • Above the line: Acknowledging reality, owning the problem, finding a solution, getting it done.

  • Closing Commitment:

    • Leaders set the tone: If the leader is not accountable, the team won’t be.

    • Action Plan: Each participant writes down one communication skill and one motivation strategy they will implement tomorrow.
