  • The 3 C’s of Communication:

    • Clarity: Giving clear instructions and setting SMART expectations.

    • Consistency: Ensuring the message remains the same across the team.

    • Compassion: Using Emotional Intelligence (EQ) to understand team needs.

  • Active Listening:

    • Listening to understand, not just to reply.

    • Techniques: Paraphrasing, open-ended questions, and non-verbal cues.

  • Feedback Loops:

    • The SBI Model: Situation, Behavior, Impact (How to give constructive feedback without attacking the person).

    • Praising in public vs. Correcting in private.

  • Situational Leadership:

    • Knowing when to Direct (tell), Coach (sell), Support (participate), or Delegate (empower) based on the employee’s skill level.
