About Course
Overview
This short course covers the fundamentals of cellular communications
systems (2G, 3G, and 4G) from the system architecture, access concepts,
and radio techniques, and takes a detailed look at the air interface, physical
and logical channels, mobility and resource management, and advanced
features.
Objective
- Know the evolution of radio technologies from 2G to 5G
- Know the similarities and differences between the GSM, UMTS,
and LTE networks - Master the basic principles of multiple access technologies
